KMUA supports reasonable safety and environmental rules and regulations which protect the public health while allowing utilities to meet the needs of their customers at realistic cost.
KMUA opposes any action, legislative or administrative, which would curb, limit, or remove local control of the operations of municipal utilities from their citizen owners..
Every associate membership application is reviewed and voted on by the full board at the next regularly scheduled board meeting. An associate membership is a non-voting membership. Membership privileges are defined by the KMUA Board of Directors.
